Now what?

Meeting

We will have a Mandatory Meeting 5/18 @ 6p in the Media Center where we will handle most of the planning and Administration for the season.  All Players (JV and Varsity) should attend, with at least 1 parent.  We will be collecting all payments on this night, including MULTIPLE DEPOSIT CHECKS) so please bring your checkbook. 

 

To get everyone started here.  Parents are encouraged to join the appropriate GroupMe to communicate through the Summer season and into Fall (Players will have a GroupMe/Group Chat directly with the Coaches ) 

Payments

The MHS Flag Football Booster Club provides all financial support to the team (meals, Equipment/Gear, tournament fees, etc.)   With the history of team success, we expect this to be a long season as well. Once selected for a team, the following items are required by JUNE 1, 2026

 

(We encourage families to submit checks for these 4 items, but if you need to pay online, please use the links.  There is a 3.67% processing fee included that can be avoided with checks)

  1. Dues of $400 CHECK

  2. Fundraising (Raffle) Pre-Payment $400 CHECK  - Each player will be issued 20 $20 Raffle Tickets.  You will only be responsible for turning in the stubs for the raffle

  3. Sponsorship Deposit $350  CHECK - Each player is responsible for securing a $350 (or more) sponsorship by September 1.   Once the payment from the sponsor is received, we will return the deposit check.  If you do not secure a sponsorship, this money will be deposited. 

  4. Uniform Deposit of $200 CHECK - This check will be returned or destroyed at the end of the season if all uniform pieces are returned clean, unstained, and in good condition

  5. Volunteer Deposit $200 CHECK- This check will be returned or destroyed at the end of the season if all 4 volunteer spots are signed up for and worked

 

 

 

 

Player Packs

Orders must be submitted by June 1, 2026 to be ready for the Fall Season.  Each Player must have the following items.  If you already have the items, there is no need to re-purchase:

  • Game Shorts - These are new for 2026 (All Players must Purchase) 

  • Practice Dri-Fit - These are new for 2026 (All Players must Purchase) 

  • Warm-up Sweatshirt

  • Warm-up Sweatpants  

  • Guardian Loop (Black) Headgear

  • Red Flag Backpack (Personalized) 

  • Bag Tag (Optional for all players)

 

 

 

 

 

Fulton County charges a $50 OSP Fee for all participants in Fulton County Extracurricular Activities.  This must be paid online using the FCS OSP Portal and must be paid in full before the student can participate in any activities for the team. LINK NOW LIVE!!!

Raffle

This year we are planning a Raffle as our Major Fundraiser.  Each player will have 20 tickets ($20 each).  We are finalizing the details and should have these ready shortly to give you more time to sell.  The Raffle will be held at one of the JV/Varsity Home Games this Fall Season

Sponsorships

To keep the costs down, all players are required to bring in at least one Sponsorship of $350 or more.  Once you have brought in your sponsorship worth $350 or more, $350 of your dues will be refunded to you via Check or Zelle (Note: Sponsor must complete the online form AND make payment).  If a player does not secure a sponsorship, the Booster club will retain all dues paid. 

All Sponsorships must be finalized and payment received by 9/1for 2026 Fall Season

Volunteer

All Player Families are required to fill a minimum of 3 volunteer shifts each season.  There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer.  Slots are added throughout the season too.  Link will go live in August

Pictures

Media Day i(8/5) s Mandatory for all players.  We will not have any makeups.  On this day they will be taking team and individual pictures as well as video.  We will take TEAM 

Social Media

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram.  We also really need everyone sharing the posts to their friends.  We have one now for the Under the Lights Summer Camp June 22-25.  This is one of our major fundraisers every year.  Additionally, we have Feeder Tryouts for 6th and 7th grade approaching (8th grade tryouts were the week after HS)

RankOne

To try out, every athlete had to be deemed Eligible per GHSA.  However, it is possible, depending on when you completed your forms and physical, that your Eligibility Status could change due to expired Forms or Physical.  We recommend reviewing your expiration dates and preparing to update the expiring items to prevent loss of GHSA Eligibility during the season.  To do so, Click on the RankOne link > Parents > Online Forms > Georgia > Fulton > Read instructions and submit all required forms.  This will require uploading of all 4 pages of a Pre-Participation Evaluation Form (Sports Physical) from the player's doctor within the last 365 days.

Expenses

Should you be requested to purchase anything on behalf of the MHS Flag Football Booster Club during the 2026 season.  Here is the link to the Expense Form to receive a reimbursement via Check or Zelle.
